Day at the zoo!

Today we had lots of fun at the LA zoo! We saw hundreds of animals and learned lots of cool stuff. Then to top off the day at the very end we went to a "bird show" where they had trained the birds to do some cool tricks. That was my favorite part...maybe Trent will actually want a bird someday now (I'm going to have to get one either way though!) Anyway, today was lots of fun, we are happy and sad to announce that it was our last Saturday in LA with just us two. We are so excited to finally go home but we've loved our Saturday adventures here. I'd say goodbye but I'm not sure anyone but me reads this! Oh well!

So it looks like Zack must have acquired his mom's love for sweets! He loved the beach but wasn't so sure about the ocean.

Our Fabulous Flaming Gorge Trip

I just thought I'd put a few pictures from our Flaming Gorge trip we took with our family. We had tons of fun! Zackary went swimming in the lake for his first time although he didn't particularly like how cold the water was. I loved taking him on the boat because as soon as we could get him comfortable in his very uncomfortable life jacket he'd go right to sleep! Overall the the trip was very fun! My ENTIRE family was able to be there along with Trent's parents and uncle. It was awesome. Well, I better go, Zack is sitting in my lap and he somehow managed to get a hold of my arm and he's sucking on it now...guess it's time to go feed him! :)
