Mother's Day
I had such an AWESOME mother's day! Trent spoiled me rotten and got up early to make breakfast with Zack while I slept in and took a bath. Not much more heavenly than that right!? He also got me a BIKE! It was my Birthday/Mother's Day present and I'm very excited about it! There are lots of fun biking trails by our house we are building so once we get a bike trailer for Zack I'm sure we'll get a TON of use out of our bikes!
I also have to take a minute and say how BLESSED I am to have such amazing women in my life. I have the best mom in the world and let's be honest, Trent isn't the only reason I wanted to marry into the Nelson family, he has the most awesome mom ever! We also spent time that evening going to the traditional Broderick family Mother's Day party. I love those family parties so much! It is so cool to feel so close to my grandma, aunts, uncles, and cousins. We are really lucky to be a close family, it is a great feeling to be around so many people that will love me no matter how stupid I am. :)

"Grammy, she's the mom of the awesome Broderick family I love so much!
I wanted some pics of Zack and I for Mother's Day and my sister had the idea for this picture, I thought it turned out pretty cute! It just shows Zackie's personality so well!
I just had to add this picture for kicks...it's my dad and my uncle Mike pretending to be grumpy people.
For those of you that don't know, my dad's side of the family has a very funny sense of humor. Our family parties are always lots of fun, we spend a lot of time joking and laughing. We wanted to take a family picture to send my cousin that is on a mission, my dad was taking the picture and he told us all to say "cheese". It turns out the camera was set on video so it recorded everyone saying random funny things. When I saw the video it made me laugh because it shows the silliness of our family so I decided to post that too! I realize that those of you that don't know our family probably won't "get it" but for those of you that do...enjoy!

The big 25...
Trent celebrated his Birthday on May 2nd. He is now 25, I know SOOO old. :) We had a fun day, we went to lunch with my family at Lonestar Steakhouse...YUMMY! Then we went to see the movie "Wolverine" with Steve (Trent's Brother) and Alana (our S-I-L). Then spent some time hanging out with Trent's parents. It was lots of fun! Happy Birthday Trent, we love you!
We woke Zack up from his nap so we could sing Happy Birthday and blow out candles with Zackie before we went to our movie. That is Zack's favorite part of Birthdays!

Been there, done that
Yes, it is officially official. Trent may have had his diploma 4 months ago but now he has the pretty white case it goes in as well. Isn't it beautiful?
Trent has been done with school for a few months now but it was fun to take time to officially celebrate. It was such a long road and he worked incredibly hard in school. The last year was especially difficult when he started working and going to school full-time, he'd stay up late working almost every night (which is when I developed my scrapbooking addiction by the way:) and I would often wish I could just work for him for a couple hours or write that paper that was lingering over his head. Even with his heavy responsibilities with work and school he ALWAYS made Zack and me a priority. He made sure to spend some time playing with Zack every day he possibly could, and on the days where he'd leave before Zack woke up and come home after he was in bed he'd make sure to do a video call just to say hi to "his boy." He took a bad grade on a few assignments when his wife occasionally went crazy for some attention too. :) I couldn't dream of a better husband! Thank you Trent for working like a mad man and some how managing to get awesome grades and an awesome job when it was all said and done. I'm so proud of you and I love you SO much!
To the rest of you, here are some pictures for your enjoyment!

Since Zack was too sick to attend the ceremony I made Trent go back to BYU the next day to take some pics with his little boy. They didn't turn out that great but we had fun walking around campus and realizing it was really over. Believe it or not Trent was already saying he missed the place, he must be crazy or something!

Last, I just had to post this video of Zack. If any of you are looking for a fun website to show your kids try this one: www.starfall.com I tried and tried to get Zack interested in learning his letters but he just wasn't....until my mom introduced us to this website. Now he's addicted! The songs are quite cheesy but as you can see he LOVES it!
To the rest of you, here are some pictures for your enjoyment!
