We finally got professional family pics!
So it has been awhile since I updated the blog. Let's see...what's new? Well, Trent decided to take the internship in San Jose with Ernst and Young. I'm pretty excited about it because my best friend from high school works there and Trisha (my sister) will be living only an hour away from there. Oh, that brings up other news. Trisha is officially having a baby girl! Sometime around April 11th. We'll move to San Jose at the end of June so that will perfect time to come help her out with her three kids!
Zack's latest changes are he is talking baby talk all the time now and he has started "barking"! It sounds so cute! He can pull himself up on stuff now and he loves to stand and balance himself holding onto a coffee table or something. He also loves to walk while someone holds his hands. He is growing up so fast...he is such a cutie! Anyway, that is the latest news for the Nelsons!

Another Update
So today Zack got his flu shot and didn't even cry! What a cutie :) everyone that was there watching was saying what an "easy going" baby he must be. I guess I just caught him in the right mood! He is also army crawling all over the house now! Today I left him in the office and went into our bedroom and he crawled all the way into the office to chase after me!
Trent is doing to fly-out interviews this week. One to San Hosea for Ernst and Young and the other to Seattle for KPMG. So I guess we'll be making a decision of where to go for a summer internship within the next couple weeks. It is also a relief that I talked to my supervisor about going and she said they'd hold my job for me for the ten weeks we'd be gone. That was awesome to hear!
The only trouble we are having lately is that Zack is having a hard time adjusting to daylight savings time. He was a great little napper all week last week and then now he is just all over the place, taking short little naps all at the wrong times. I'm sure he'll adjust by the end of this week though.
Anyway, that is the latest for us! Bu-bye now.

Lots of Changes

Well lots of new things have been happening lately! That most exciting of all of them is that Zackary is learning to crawl! Right now it is more of a strange army crawl but at least he's figured out how to move forward. He can sorta pull himself up when holding onto something but not always and he has a hard time balancing himself still.
As for me I chopped my hair off! I was really for a change so I made it happen. I like the new hair cut a lot. I thought it would be this huge drastic change but I don't feel like I look all that different so whatever. I like it because I can do my hair lots of different ways now.

As for Trent of course he's still studying like crazy as always. Today he got an email from Deloite consulting asking him if he is still interested in working for them.
This is what someone from BYU said when he was talking to them about it: "Thank you for getting back to us and I am glad you are still interested (they obviously are interested in you because they specifically requested we try to contact you)." So that is a good thing! Deliote is a very competitive company that it is hard to even get interviews with so that was good news. We aren't sure if they have internship programs for consulting though so who knows if he will actually be working there for the summer. It seemed more like they wanted to hire him on full time...we'll see, he's still gathering information about it.Anyway, that is the latest for us! These are some cute pictures of us celebrating Halloween early at a ward party my parents had.

Our fun weekend
So this last weekend we were lucky enough to get to go hang out in the mountains in a very nice cabin with some of our good friends, Tom and Danielle. Trent and Tom go way back and are really good friends.
P.S. I just started sleep training Zack for naps today and he cried for 40 minutes but he is now sound asleep a whole hour later! Which is a record for him...up till now he would only sleep 45 minutes at a time (at the MOST) unless I slept by him. I am so excited that he is finally getting into a good schedule!

I just love my little boy!

I swear he just gets cuter and cuter every day! We had so much fun this weekend. We spent time at both Grandparents houses watching conference and we got to see lots of friends and family.
Zackary REALLY loved conference, he took better and longer naps than he usually does. It must be that warm feeling of the spirit just lulls him into a wonderful peaceful sleep. That is what it does for me anyway! :) Just teasing! We also had lots of fun on Saturday night making sugar cookies with Bradley and Conner. They are the best little helpers. And Bradley is now telling us that he is big enough to baby sit Zackary for us, isn't the wonderful!?
Anyway, this weekend was so perfect. Trent and I got to spend more time with each other than we have in a long time. It was so nice to just be able to relax and watch conference and spend time with family. Nothin' tops that!
By the way, Zack LOVES his baths! He splashes and splashes and can't get enough of it. He screams every time I take him out of the bathtub. What a mean mom I am ruining his fun!
